Tencent Games has announced a new plan for it’s top ‘Honor of Kings’ tournament for the 2019 KPL Spring Season and includes the addition of three new non-endemic sponsors such as apparel brand HLA Jeans, sugar -free chewing gum 5, and Tongyi Ice Tea, with Vivo and Saic Vokswagen continuing as the main sponsors.
Additionally, McDonalds, M&Ms, and Shanghai Pudong Development Bank will not be renewing their sponsorship deals for reasons not known at this time.
Lastly, the 2019 KPL Spring Season will continue to use its “West against East” franchise system; eight teams on the West teams and seven teams in the East teams, raising the total number of teams to 15.
