It’s Friday so that means that Destiny’s popular merchant Xur has returned with new loot. The Agent of the Nine is hanging out in the Winding Cove region of the EDZ
This week Xur has the following:
- Prometheus Lens (Trace Rifle)
- The Dragon’s Shadow (Hunter Chest Armor)
- Nezarec’s Sin (Warlock Helmet)
- Mk. 44 Stand Asides (Titan Leg Armor)
It’s interesting that Prometheus lens is available, as it is extremely overpowered in PvP. But expect it to be nerfed next week to address the issue.
Each of the items comes at a maximum power level of 305 — a base power of 300, plus a Legendary (purple) mod that raises the value by five.
Bungie announced that Xur will soon begin selling “Fated Engrams” (for 97 legendary shards) that will decrypt into exotics you don’t already have, once weekly
