EA Announced ‘Significant’ Changes To Star Wars Battlefront II Progression System

Atari X

EA is hoping that major changes to the progression system of Star Wars Battlefront 2 can help turn the game around after a release that was met with criticism and disappointment, including backlash over their microtransaction system.

EA calls the changes “significant,” and they “address many of the things” players have asked for, however, details won’t be revealed until March.

EA announced a new, limited-time mode coming in February called Jetpack Cargo which sees “two teams of eight players equipped with jet packs” compete against one another in what EA calls “a frantic, fast-paced way to play.”

EA also promised a new season is “coming soon.”
