Smite Patch 6.1 Implements Cross-Platform Matchmaking for Platforms, Except Playstation

A brand new update for Smite has arrived and Patch 6.1 is notable because it implements cross-platform matchmaking for all platforms, except for stubborn Sony and their Playstation.

This is getting ridiculous, and more people are calling out the gaming console market to cut the crap and allow people to cross-play, regardless of platform.

You can read the full patch notes here.

Hi-Rez studio CEO recently called out Playstation, calling for them to “tear down the wall”.

Hey @Sony @PlayStation. It’s time to stop playing favorites and tear down the crossplay/progression wall for everyone. We have @SMITEGame, @PaladinsGame, @RealmRoyale ready to go when you are. https://t.co/KNDetpXPf5— HiRezStew (@schisam) February 8, 2019
