Respawn Has Banned Over 16,000 Players on Apex Legends for Cheating

Respawn is keeping busy in their quest to keep the gameplay on their super-popular battle royale Apex Legends fair and clean of cheating.

According to their update this week, Respawn reveals that they have identified and banned over 16,000 cheaters in Apex Legends, and has asked players to “try and capture the evidence” of any cheaters they find and report them on the dedicated page in an effort to keep a level playing field.

“Even if you don’t get proof, get their ID and flag it and we can investigate the account. We have heard your feedback about a report feature in the game. I’ll just say that’s a very good idea” community manager Jay Frechette said.
