Following the whole review-bomb fiasco regarding Borderlands 2 on Steam, over Gearbox Software and 2K Games’ controversial decision to release Borderlands 3 exclusively on the Epic Games Store , the iconic loot-shooter has impressively returned to prominence in the world of Stream.
Following the announcement of Borderlands 3, and the recent high-resolution textures on PC and across all consoles, an uptick in play for Borderlands 2, which released several years ago, took a major upswing.
According to GitHyp, Borderlands 2 had an impressive weekend when it saw a peak of 60k concurrent players , which is just shy of half the game’s all-time peak of 124k players from September 2012.
