A surprise update for Apex Legends has been wreaking havoc on Playstation 4, causing crashes for a number of players.
Respawn rolled out update 1.08 overnight on the Playstation, but a number of crashes were reported almost immediately, with most of the complaints/issues being centered on selecting Lifeline for play.
Respawn community manager Jay Frechette took to Reddit to confirm that they are aware of the issue, saying that the Pick Me Up banner frames for Lifeline were trying to call a file that doesn’t exist.
A full fix is currently in the works.
