With Destiny 2’s latest DLC Shadowkeep set to arrive today, Bungie is already eyeing it’s next new franchise.

Bungie CEO Pete Parsons talked about the developer’s goals to become more than just a single-game publisher, during an interview with IGN, revealing plans to make Bungie one of “best entertainment companies” in the world by 2025.

“So, by 2025 we have a pretty specific path to make sure we transform Destiny and that we have other franchises within the marketplace,” Parsons said.

Parsons also went on to discuss Bungie’s separating from ActiVision, saying that the move allows Bungie to build the Destiny “that we really believe in” and focus on it being a “single evolving world.”
