Sont has announced that it will officially pull the plug on it’s Playstation VUE internet/TV service on January 30th, 2020.
Within the official announcement, Sony said that the decision was due to the “highly competitive Pay TV industry,”and the expensive content and network deals which go along with it, adding that the company will now shift it’s focus to “core gaming business.”
PlayStation users will still be able to access TV and films through the PlayStation Store on PS4 and via the company’s app partnerships.
