A limited time event in Rainbow Six Siege called The Grand Larceny will officially kick off today and run up until May 19th.
The 5v5 game mode, inspired by the British mob of the 1920s, will allow most operators to be unlocked to play this event with the exception of Glaz, Nomad, Buck, Montagne, Blitz, Caveira, Kali, Clash, Blackbeard, Lion, IQ, Tachanka, Recruit, Twitch, and Mozzie.
There will also be a new game mode in an “elderly” British version of the Hereford map entitled The Stolen Goods, which won’t feature a hostage, no area to secure, and no bombs to defuse. Additionally, there won’t be a preparation phase and there won’t be an Attacker’s drone on hand. Instead, safeboxes will be spread throughout the map and Defenders will need to defend those safeboxes. Defenders can claim victory by taking out all opponents as well.
The Grand Larceny Collection will also introduce 31 items, including exclusive customization for Amaru, Fuze, Gridlock, Hibana, Maverick, Echo, Maestro, Kaid, Wamai, and Warden. It can be obtained by completing Event Challenges, 300 R6 Credits, or 12500 Renown.
The Roaring Riches Bundle, which contains the Deco Artistry weapon skin and the Crafted Six charm, will also be made available during the limited time event.
