Eli Roth’s ‘Borderlands’ In Talks with Cate Blanchett to Play Lilith

Lionsgate and Eli Roth’s ‘Borderlands’ movie is reportedly in talks with actress Cate Blanchett to play the role of Lilith in the adaptation of the hit video game series, according to Variety.

Directed by Roth and produced by Avi and Ari Arad via Arad Prods, with Erik Feig and Picturestart, the fill well tell the story of: “Borderlands is set in the distant future, in which four “Vault Hunters” travel to the distant planet Pandora to hunt down an alien vault, rumored to contain advanced alien technology. The hunters find themselves battling the local wildlife and bandit population, but ultimately attempt to stop the head of a private corporation army from reaching the vault first.”
