Sea of Thieves has dropped a brand new, free update called Lost Treasures and it is now currently available on PC, Xbox Game Pass, and Xbox One.
With the new update comes a new checkpoints system that will help you progress through Tall Tales, Daily Bounties, and other various events. Tall Tales are narrative driven quests that will “delve into the stories” of the people and places within the game.
Daily Bounties will feature mini-objectives and goals that can help players locate treasure as they travel to numerous locations and do battle with enemies. The Reaper’s Rewards event will offer prizes such as new emotes and the Blighted Bonus will also introduce some new elements to the game.
The Hunter’s Haul fishing event also makes a return to the game. You can read the full patch notes here.
