Mediatonic’s smash hit Fall Guys has been seeing incredible success on twitch, making twitch news headlines for viewership all summer long, and is now making successful strides financially following it’s launch on PC, according to market analyst Superdata.
Per their data, Fall Guys amassed $185 million at launch on PC, making it the most profitable digital PC launch since Blizzard’s Overwatch’s debut all the way back in 2016. This is even more impressive when considering that Fall Guys has been free, as part of PlayStation Plus.
Superdata estimates 8.2 million copies were sold at launch and was the number one PC game, regarding revenue, for the month of August, which was the month that Horizon Zero Dawn launched on PC, selling over 716,000 units.
