Nioh 2 is gearing up to release it’s second DLC, entitled ‘Darkness in the Capital’, on October 15th.
In the new DLC, players will experience new storylines, new bosses, new Yokai, new Guardian Spirits, new skills, Ninjutsu, Onmyo Magic and Soul Cores, and players can also expect new sets and a weapon “fans of hand-to-hand combat will surely relish.”
The DLC storyline focuses on the history of the Sohayamaru as the protagonist heads to Kyoto City where they will investigate a shrine containing an old box that will take the player all the way back to the Heian Period, an ancient version of the capital.
During this time Kyoto was terrorized by Yokai, however many heroes fought back, one of which was a “preeminent demon slayer and the strongest sorcerer in history.”
Join the heroes to battle the hordes and learn about the connections between “an even more distant past” and the present.
Surely to be a hit on Twitch and talked about in streamer news once it officially arrives, Nioh 2 should be on your “must” list in October.
