Amazon has officially unveiled their new cloud gaming service Luna, which has been in the works since last year. Amazon says –“Introducing Luna, Amazon’s cloud gaming service where it’s easy to play great games on devices you already own. No waiting for lengthy downloads or updates — just play.”
Early Access is now officially open in the United States and allows for customers to request an invitation online, through this page.
The service allows you to play on one screen and pick up to play on another. It will be available on Fire TV, PC, and Mac upon launch and will later arrive on iPhone, iPad, and Android.
Players have the option to subscribe to the Luna+ game channel, which offers titles such as Resident Evil 7, Control, Panzer Dragoon, A Plague Tale: Innocence, The Surge 2, Yooka-Laylee and The Impossible Lair, Iconoclasts, GRID, ABZU, and Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons.
Luna will be available at an introductory price of $5.99 per month during the early access period, and more titles will be added over time.
Amazon also announced a new gaming channel with Ubisoft, available directly through Luna, which will give subscribers access to Ubisoft titles in up to 4K resolution, mobile gameplay, and access to new titles when the channel launches like Assassins Creed Valhalla, Far Cry 6, and Immortals: Fenyx Rising the same day they release.
Additionally, players will also see Twitch streams for games in the service, and be able to instantly start playing Luna games.
The Luna Controller is available at an introductory price of $49.99 during the early access period.
