A new patch, exclusively for the Playstation 5, has rolled out for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, but it doesn’t appear as if it improved the game at all. In fact, an argument can be made that it has made the game worse.
Crashes have plagued Playstation 5 players since it’s release, which has prevented many from playing the game at all, but with the new update there is now brief stutters that pop up at random, even if the player disables ray tracing, which is making it even harder to play.
Treyarch is aware and addressing the issues, and you can read the patch notes from the latest update on their official website:
We’re aware of an issue with occasional hitching on PlayStation 5, and a fix is currently scheduled to release as soon as possible.
As always, please keep an eye on the known issues we’re tracking at our Trello board: https://t.co/ZAN9e2CKVT
