Capcom officially announced a collaboration between Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess and Okami, which is currently running up until July 17th, the classic 2006 game that allowed players to take control of the Shinto sun goddess Amaterasu and while Amaterasu doesn’t appear in Path of the Goddess, Soh’s costume is certainly drawn from the character.
According to the official rundown: “In celebration of Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess’s demo release, the Japanese-inspired action strategy game is hosting a special collaboration with Okami. The event, which runs until July 17, will include special outfits, weapons, and music from Okami. If enough players complete the demo, Kunitsu-Gami’s Okami items will be available as a free update to everyone who purchases a copy of the game. Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess releases on July 19 on PlayStation5, PlayStation4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC.”
