Twitch streamers have to adhere to a set of rules if they want to keep their channels up and running on the growing platform, and some of those rules may not be 100% clear, and when those rules are violated, it leaves some Twitch streams banned and scrambling to find out why.
HelenaLive is one such streamer, and she claims that Twitch permanently banned her channel after she said that there were two genders, which Twitch deemed ‘offensive to the transgender community’.
Her correspondence with Twitch revealed that she has been reported for ‘hateful conduct’ within the last two months.
Twitch also stated that they are terminating their partnership with HelenaLive, which allows her to earn additional income from her streams, which generates most of her income.
The streamer took to YouTube to post the following video, detailing an email exchange between her and a representative from Twitch.
