British Esports Association Announces Partnership with North America Scholastic Esports Federation

British Esports Association, a not-for-profit organization, has officially announced a partnership with the North America Scholastic Esports Federation (NASEF).

Per the new deal, both entities will collaborate on new programs, including working on joint tournaments, and running exchange programs across both the United Kingdom and North America as well.

“We are delighted to partner with NASEF and work on shared learnings around esports in education” Andy Payne OBE, Chair of Advisory Board at British Esports Association said in an press release.

“Some positive first steps have been taken in this space over the past few years, and by teaming up with another respected organisation we can combine forces, develop new programs faster and work stronger together.”

“NASEF is excited to be partnering with British Esports to make a difference in the lives of children and young adults through a scholastic and academic approach to esports” Gerald Solomon, Founder of North America Scholastic Esports Federation said. “It is rare when two entities have the same set of values and moral compass. NASEF and British Esports are two such organisations. Working together, we can accomplish so much more for children around the world.”

TGS Esports has officially announced the creation of their full-service management company Discover Management, which is intended to “help esports influencers, content creators and players realize their full value”.

“At TGS we are working with creators on a daily basis” TGS Esports Co-founder and CEO Spiro Khouri said in an official press release. “One constant we have dealt with is that creators love creating but may not have the experience with brand deals or legal matters. We’re helping creators legitimize their career path and guiding them through that process. 2021 M2 World Championship Taking Place in Singapore

Riot Games Announces Live Media Will Broadcast Legends of Runeterra

Riot Games has officially announced that Wisdom Gaming Group will handle the broadcasting in North American for their Legends of Runeterra esports competition events running into 2021. Wisdom Gaming Group will produce Legends of Runeterra broadcasts under its Giant Slayer brand.

“We’re excited to facilitate tremendous competition with our Legends of Runeterra Seasonal Tournaments in North America” Chris Greeley, Riot Games’ Director of Esports and Commissioner of the LCS said in an official statement. “Based on Wisdom and Giant Slayer’s proven history of accomplishments, we’re confident they’ll help us deliver something truly special to players over the course of multiple tournaments and broadcasts.”
