Esports Stadium Arlington Partners with HyperX

Esports Stadium Arlington and gaming brand HyperX have officially announced a partnership that will see HyperX outfit Esports Stadium Arlington with HyperX peripherals including headsets, keyboard, mice, controller charging docks, and mousepads.

Additionally, as part of the new partnership, HyperX will also provide Esports Stadium Arlington with products specifically for fan giveaway opportunities. The partnership is set to officially kick off on July 11th with the venue’s official re-opening.

“Holding the crown as the largest dedicated esports facility in North America comes with tremendous responsibility” Jonathon Oudthone, President of Esports Stadium Arlington said in an official press release. “It’s extremely important for us to partner with companies that can compliment the excellence and experience we provide to our players and fans. W Series Esports League Partners with Getty Images

Getty Images, the global visual media brand, has officially announced their partnership with the all-female simulation racing competition known as W Series Esports League, which will see Getty Images serve as the official photographer of the league.

“Ever since Getty Images was founded 25 years ago, our specialist operations team and industry-leading photographic talent have been at the forefront of creating innovative sports photography” Ken Mainardis, Global Head of Content at Getty Images said in an official press release. “This partnership furthers the W Series aim in elevating female esports to a global audience and demonstrates how Getty Images leads the way in delivering cutting-edge content to our customers around the world.”

Simplicity Esports and Gaming Company has officially announced that it has acquired all assets of PL Gaming Texas LLC, which has been referred to as “one of the most successful franchisee-owned esports gaming centres in its nationwide footprint.”

“Our franchisee has done an excellent job building, staffing, and growing this location” Roman Franklin, President of Simplicity Esports said in an official statement. “The gaming center consists of over 30 gaming stations, gaming related merchandise and accessories for sale, and a quality staff that will remain in place after the acquisition to continue serving the center’s thousands of existing customers.”

Esports organization 100 Thieves, one of the most popular and well-known esports teams, has officially hired Jeremy Azevado as their VP of Content. Azevedo previously worked at IGN Entertainment as its Head of Gaming Programming, according to Esports Insider.

Azevado has previously worked in areas of programming and development for companies such as Machinima, CraveOnline, Group Nine Media, Jukin Media, and Discovery Digital Networks, prior to his working at IGN.
