Kaitlyn ‘Amouranth’ Siragusa is blasting Instagram after the photo sharing platform refused to delete a spam account that is posting her pictures, including the images that got Amouranth banned from Instagram.
Amouranth became one of the notable Instagram influencers on the platform during the front end of her streaming career, but she eventually was banned from Instagram due to the adult nature of some of her content.
Earlier this week, Amouranth took to Twitter to take Instagram to task for “refusing” to ban a fake account that is pretending to be her “official” Instagram account.
“This is not me” she said in the tweet. “Not sure why Instagram banned my Amouranth Instagram account, then literally allows an account that copied all my main Instagram’s content […] all the while refusing to ban this fake account.�?
She later pointed out Instagram’s “terrible policies” and that their bans of her had made the platform “less safe”. She added that the fake account is “running a romance scam�? and is subsequently using her “name and likeness to engage in criminal scamming.�?
