Twitch Streamers See Rise in Ad Incentive Offers

Monetization has long been considered a bumpy road for Twitch streamers, regardless of Partner or Affiliate status, but this month of ad incentive offers are showing a marked rise in payouts for ads per hour.

Twitch kicked off the ad incentives program back in June of this year, and it saw a number of streamers receive some improved pay rates if they ran a certain number ads during their Twitch streams, and clocked a certain number of streaming hours.

More recently, streamers were offered an increased revenue split from advertisements, if they ran them more often. While it was initially met with some pushback, the ad incentive offers for September 2022 are winning over some big named streamers.

But not everyone is celebrating the new advertising incentives, as Twitch pushes to clock in more profits, with many speculating that it could ultimately ruin the experience for their viewers in the process.
