Twitch Lifts Ban On Streamer Banned for Having Sex on Live Stream After 7 Days

Following just 7 days, Twitch has lifted the ban of Twitch streamer ‘kimmikka’ who was banned for having sexing during a live stream, and her account is now fully restored.

The ban was not indefinite, but many streamers and creators have taken the Amazon streaming platform to task for their ban policies, expecting them to enforce a harsher ban for the live-sex stream. However, Kimmikka told esports reporter Jake Lucky that her ban was only for a week, as Twitch informed her in an email, and claimed that the incident was merely a “drunken accident”.

The ban was lifted on September 4th, and her channel has already seen growth, despite the controversy surrounding it, but she has not made a return to streaming as of yet.
