PewDiePie Discusses Why He Hasn’t Quit YouTube

YouTuber Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg may have announced his retirement two years ago, but he is not ready to quit YouTube just yet.

One of the most popular creators on the YouTube platform, PewDiePie has garnered over 111 million subscribers, and recently spoke about why he has not yet stopped uploading videos to his channel.

“What I meant was that I just wanna do YouTube the way I did it when I started which is for fun,” he said during a recent video (h/t Dexerto). “I didn’t do it to become this ‘big channel’. So, instead I try to just focus on what’s fun about YouTube.”

“YouTube has started to become fun again over the last two years. Why should I quit? It’s my dream after all to do YouTube,” he added.
