LexyThunderBoom: “I’m Lexy, I’m at a level 28, and live in Pennsylvania all my life. I got into gaming at a very young age, my Dad was a young parent and bought the PlayStation in 1996 I was 6 years old and he bought the first Tomb Raider game.

That was the first game I played as a kid, but the first game that really made me fall in love with gaming was Final Fantasy VII. The way the story had grab me in and made me feel apart of the characters and appreciate the graphics design.

Growing up we had enjoyed all different video game systems; Nintendo 64, Dream-cast, PlayStation 2 ,3, and Xbox, etc..

Both my younger brother and I had such a love for video games, which brings me to how I really got into streaming and connecting with other gamers.

About 6-7 years ago my brother came to me and said, “There’s this game platform that you can stream your video games while you are playing, and others can watch live. I think you should do it, I have a feeling you would do great.”

I wish I listened to my brother years ago, but at that time I was to insecure and thought that being a female gamer I would either be made fun of or not taken seriously.

Now, fast forward to 2019, time has really changed in the gaming industry. I learned that you should never let your insecurities or what OTHER people might think of you, stop you from doing something you love. With the love and support of my soon to be husband, I got the equipment I needed to start streaming.

For streaming for only 2 weeks, I’ve gotten so much help and support from all different people around the world and I really have been enjoying this community so far.

My plan is to eventually incorporate my makeup and design skills to my streams. Also, to promote and lift others up, by just having good old fashion fun, playing video games! I can’t wait to see how I and the gaming industry grows, in the coming years.”
