As the world continues to navigate through the coronavirus pandemic, more and more people have turned to streaming to either create content or to watch it, and one streaming platform is seeing significantly increased numbers during the pandemic.
According to TwitchTracker (h/t The Motley Fool), Twitch has seen average concurrent viewers nearly double from about 1.3 million in January of this year to 2.5 million in April, per the report statistics.
In March alone viewers watched over 1.2 billion hours of content on Twitch, and those numbers are already over 1.1 billion so far in April, showing that they are likely going to be double the statistics reported for March.
