Upcoming Platform ‘Brime’ Says It Has Nothing to Do with Dr Disrespect, Hints Otherwise

As rumors continue to swirl regarding Twitch’s permanent ban of popular streamer Dr Disrespect, an upcoming streaming service says that they had nothing to do with the streamer’s ban only a few short months following the signing of his new contract, according to Forbes’ Paul Tassi.

There aren’t many details about ‘Brime’, which is rather vague with details, but has amassed quite the social media buzz in the wake of Dr Disrespect’s ban from Twitch, but they stated they aren’t to blame for the ban, or associated with Dr Disrespect.

However a tweet this morning indicated otherwise.

Rumors had been circulating since the shut down of Mixer, that Dr Disrespect, Shroud, and Ninja could be forming their own streaming service, and many have been speculating that Brime, reportedly a new streaming service, could be the platform.

Brime has been answering questions, via their Twitter page, on Monday regarding their service.

Interestingly enough, an account that seems associated with Brime (@BrimeHQ) tweeted the following this morning, asking who will be ready to join when they do launch, included with a picture of Dr Disrespect, Shroud, and Ninja. So, it appears, if this tweet is indeed legit, that Brime is indeed associated with the streamers, and could be the next major platform to get in the mix!

With Mixer out of the mix, the prospect of becoming Brime streamers could be an attractive alternative to Twitch, YouTube, and Facebook Gaming.

Note: I am of the thinking that Brime won’t even be the name, and this will be a wonderful diversion from what the platform will really be called. Brime domains seem to go to other entities, so the name Brime may not be the official name
